Rights of the data subjects

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, deleted. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose.

Legal basis for data processing

Our privacy policy is based on the requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), the implementing ordinance (DSV) and, where applicable, other data protection laws applicable in individual cases (e.g. the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). These data protection provisions do not contain an exhaustive description of our data processing; individual matters are regulated in whole or in part by specific information (with or without reference to these data protection provisions). There are exceptions to the obligation to provide information under data protection law: this does not apply if the information is not possible or requires a disproportionate effort, if you have already been informed about the data processing, if the processing is provided for by law or if we are legally obliged to maintain confidentiality.

Purposes of data processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Provision and improvement of our website
- Responding to enquiries
- Fulfilment of legal requirements
- Advertising and market research

Recipient of the data

Your personal data will be shared with the following third parties:
- Service providers who support us in the provision of our website and our services
- Google (in the context of Google AdSense and Google Analytics)
- YouTube

Data transfer to third countries

Data that we process when using Google AdSense, Google Analytics and YouTube may be transferred to the USA. Google and YouTube are certified in accordance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and therefore offer an appropriate level of data protection.

Storage duration

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes. It will then be deleted, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Safety measures

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the DPA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Privacy policy for the use of Google AdSense

This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating adverts from Google Inc ("Google"). Google AdSense uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to analyse information such as visitor traffic on these pages.

The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may be passed on by Google to contractual partners of Google. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored by you.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Privacy policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information for the purpose of analysing your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Privacy policy for the use of YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide customised advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
